Vienna (Vena) Brewer is Russia’s fifth-largest,
it has a brewery in St. Petersburg and another at Chelyabinsk – a city
the Ural Mountains.
In 1998 Danish company Calsberg-Tuborg acquired a controlling stake.
Vienna’s top brand is Nevskoye – it occupies around 13% of Russia’s premium beer market segment.

This elite type of beer is named in honour of the Russian merchant Nikolai Sinyebruhoff. Who found in 1819 in Helsinki the oldest brewery in Northern Europe.
