Russian Visas

First you need a Russian visa invitation.

Once the Russian visa invitation has been received (fax copy or original) it must be taken to your country’s local Russian Embassy so that they can process it and place an entry visa in your passport. The Russian visa, in the form of a sticker, will require one complete page in your passport.

The policy and price for processing a Russian visa varies depending to which Russian Embassy you take it. Since you do not need to attend in person, there are companies that specialise in handling the visa application - this is often a good option even though there may be some addition cost.
