Botchkarev Draught

Strength: 4.0 % abv

Recognising that many people truly prefer the light and fresh flavor of draft beer, we developed our Botchkarev draft style lager in July, 1999 when the average daily temperature was hovering around 30 degrees. The beer has proven to be a very popular one for it is pleasingly light and accompanies any kind of food.

Botchkarev (Especially Strong)
Botchkarev Strong - bottle label

Strength: 8.5 % abv
Gravity: 17 %

Our strong lager is very popular one here in Russia. It is very similar to our standard lager but much more malt is used. It is this extra bit of malt and slightly longer fermentation time that gives the beer the added kick making it 8.5% alcohol and with a gravity of 17.5%.

Botchkarev (Dark)
Botchkarev Dark - bottle label

Strength: 5.2 % abv
Gravity: 12 %

Our dark lager is a welcomed change from most Russian dark beers for rather than having a heavy sweet flavour, dark Botchkarev starts with a hint of malty-sweetness and rounds itself out quite robustly with a roasted after-taste. The roasted flavours come from the high-quality chocolate malt that we use for this brew.
