Assassinations
and the Russian mafia

This really shouldn’t be a personal hazard unless you’re up to something no good in Russia, e.g., you have recently renewed your Russian mafia membership!

Once in a while St. Petersburg is shaken by an assassination - the victim is usually a successful (consequently a not-so successful) businessman, politician or some other person in a position of power.

However, there is no need to worry about such events as the Russian authorities assure the general public that "the killers are professional and rarely wound anyone but the intended".

We guess there's nothing to be concerned about then!
